Strength and Agility Training for the Young Athlete
Core Performance: gives you the training to get in the game! Want to improve game speed so you can make the varsity team next year? Do you want to learn how to train like the pros? Looking for a more effective and innovative way to work out and get in better shape? Core Performance is for you. The Core Performance Program will focus on the following six areas: § Speed, agility, and coordination § Core strength and power (learn to train the vertical core) § Mobility and flexibility § Energy systems § Injury prevention § Advanced basketball skills
Stephen Hare, PTA/CSCS/CSTS has been in the business of Sports Medicine and injury prevention for the past 20 years. He recently received his credentials as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach through the NSCA. He has coached AAU and Varsity basketball for the past 10 years.
Gina Ellis has been in the fitness training industry for the past 16 years. Fitness and nutrition has always been a passion. Participating in numerous triathlons and events that has challenged her physically, inspired her to turn what she enjoys to a career of training others. She participates and has placed in the Women’s Tri-Fitness National Ultimate Fitness Challenge since 2001 involving an Obstacle Course and fitness skills comprised of bench press, shuttle run and plyometric box jumps.
Mondays 7-9pm *Thursdays 3:30pm-5:00pm *Sundays 1-3pm Each two-hour session will include strength and agility PLUS advanced basketball skills Prices $75 per month (includes one class per week) $125 per month (includes two classes per week) Or $20 per class Prices also include testing
