Lock and Load Ladies!....

Jim Geddes established the Pacific Pistols Girls’ AAU Basketball Club in 1991.  We are located in the Sierra Foothills in the town of Auburn, California.  Although we are a small community and draw from a limited population, the Pistols have had at least 1 team qualify for AAU Nationals in 1992, 1994, 1995, 1997, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005.  The girls have defeated several state championship teams while competing at the National level and have a solid background and reputation in California, Oregon, Arizona, British Columbia, Washington and Nevada.
Take a few minutes to visit with the teams of our Club and don't forget to sign our guest book!

Steve Hare Steps Down as Director of the Pistols

Director Steve Hare, who stepped in for founder James Geddes in 2003 is passing the whistle to
long time Pistols coach Norm Schoenhoff. Steve continued the Pistol tradition by offering many
young ladies an opportunity to excel on and off the court. His commitment to the Pistols and
sideline manner will be missed. Steve leads by example and many of our young coaches are
guided by what they learned from Steve and how they were taught.

Thanks Steve!!!

Welcome Norm!!!

COOL UNDER PRESSURE

Kasey Riecks the "Real Deal" for UCD

Emily Johnson Stand Out Player for USSB

"She's one of the most coachable kids I've ever been around," the coach said. "She's a sponge -- she just wants to get better. She's a gym rat. She's everything you could want in a point guard."

It doesn't hurt that Johnson is both "more physically ready than most freshmen" and has the right skill set, Gottlieb said.

"She's got a great feel for the game," Gottlieb said. "She's a terrific shooter, and for a point guard she's very strong, which gives her the ability to finish in the paint."

Senior guard Rebekah Calvert is the leading scorer for William Jessup.
Senior guard Rebekah Calvert is averaging 14.9 points and seven rebounds per contest, and is leading the team in steals and assists. “I don’t think anything is ever out of reach,” Calvert said. “It all depends on how hard you work and how hard you want it. You can only go forward and you can only get better.”
